Rob is a member of The Motley Fool’s corporate venture team, which invests in post-seed and pre-Series A companies. The Fool’s venture team provides capital and trusted guidance in digital marketing, financing, culture, corporate strategy and other areas of need. The team also connects founders to industry-specific advisors, service providers, potential customers, and future investors.
Before he joined the corporate venture team, Rob led the Fool’s leadership and development program. His other roles include director of retail funds at Motley Fool Asset Management, and product manager/product developer for some of the Fool’s subscription investing services, such Inside Value and Rule Your Retirement.
Prior to his roles at The Motley Fool, Rob analyzed digital-media strategies for member organizations of the Newspaper Association of America in Tysons Corner, Va., and wrote and edited publications for media executives customers of Phillips Publishing. He holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park, and lives in Rockville, Md.
