LaunchTN announces 36|86 Pavilion at Live On The Green Music Festival

Expanded partnership with Lightning 100 features Job Fair and Adventure Science Center for Kids

Nashville, TN—Launch Tennessee (LaunchTN), a public-private partnership that fosters technology development and entrepreneurship across the state, is excited to announce the inaugural 36|86 Pavilion at Live On The Green, Nashville’s free outdoor music festival.

The pavilion is part of LaunchTN’s expanded partnership with Lightning 100, Nashville’s longest-running independent radio station, at 36|86 Entrepreneurship Festival Aug. 28-29.

Programming at the 36|86 Pavilion includes:

  • 36|86 Pavilion Job Fair, in partnership with Asurion, Friday, Aug. 30, from 4-9 p.m. CT and Saturday, Aug. 31, from noon-8 p.m. CT. This casual networking opportunity will be open to job seekers looking to join a fast-growing startup, as well as young startups scouting for talent to scale their businesses.
  • 36|86 Pavilion Adventure Science Center for Kids, Sunday, Sept. 1. Connecting kids and robotics in partnership with the Adventure Science Center.

All events at the 36|86 Pavilion are free and open to the public.

“We’re thrilled to continue to grow this partnership with Lightning 100 as we build a world-class entrepreneurship festival,” said Margaret Dolan, President and CEO of LaunchTN. “We’re particularly excited about the Pavilion Job Fair as it reinforces our firm belief that Tennessee is a great place to launch careers and grow companies.”

Last year’s inaugural partnership between LaunchTN and Lightning 100 included an exclusive VIP party on-site at Live On The Green—a feature open to 36|86+ ticket holders again this year. The combined events increased hotel occupancy in the downtown core from 2017, which created a ripple effect for downtown businesses.

“There was so much energy that spilled into our festival from 36|86 last year. We are very excited to expand our partnership with LaunchTN for 2019 and be able to offer some exciting new features,” said Tom Hansen from Lightning 100. “Nashville will always be a music destination, and this partnership is a great opportunity to deepen connections between Nashville’s innovative and creative communities.”

Powered by LaunchTN, 36|86 is the Southeast’s premier startup event, attracting more than 1,200 entrepreneurs, investors, and innovation-ecosystem builders from across the U.S. For more information and to purchase a ticket, visit attend3686.com.
