LaunchTN Community Partner Program celebrates success of first cohort

LaunchTN created the Community Partner Program (CPP) to provide funding to organizations implementing entrepreneurial support programs and resources in their communities.

The CPP cohort 1 collective impact reached 28 Tennessee counties and served more than 1,500 entrepreneurs during the first half of 2023. Those numbers will grow as numerous projects continue through completion.

In its first round of applications, LaunchTN received 42 submissions from non-profits, businesses, and academic institutions statewide. After a rigorous review process, the organization selected 11 awardees and distributed a total of $69,750. Funded projects include educational resources for founders, speaker series and summits, and other creative initiatives to support entrepreneurs.

One funded program, LAUNCH CHA Academy, offers a 10-week entrepreneurship course for businesses in the startup phase. A program participant shared, “The program has enhanced my confidence by providing valuable resources, information, and support. It is an impressive program that is changing lives in this city.”

An attendee of the Wealth & Wellness Fempreneur Summit, organized by CPP awardee Bold in Business, said, “I loved the technical aspect of the summit, it was a lot of showing what tools to use to get things done! A lot of times these summits are just ‘I’m here to inspire you’ but no real tools. I got so much knowledge on how to get to your goals and maintain.”

LaunchTN is proud to support the amazing work of organizations serving entrepreneurs in their communities. CPP funding is one of many ways the organization bolsters the entrepreneurial ecosystem statewide.
