Wendy Malloy

Director of Communications

Wendy leads our team in telling the story of Tennessee’s transformational entrepreneurship ecosystem. She is responsible for the development and execution of LaunchTN’s communications strategy, media relations, digital content, and marketing for events including the annual 36|86 Entrepreneurship Festival.

Wendy joined our team in March 2019, after 10 years with PwC and, earlier in her career, serving as editor and writer for various publications. Her work has appeared in TIME magazine, the Tampa Tribune, Tampa Bay Illustrated magazine, Creative Loafing newspapers (Atlanta and Tampa), and more. 

Her community service includes posts as volunteer deputy leader and spokesperson for the Florida chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, chair of the PwC/United Way Charity Golf Classic, volunteer coordinator for Trinity Cafe, and volunteer with Camelot Community Care. In Nashville, she is the Be SMART leader for Moms Demand Action and is a volunteer with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee.

Wendy holds a degree in English Literature from the University of South Florida.
