Khrys Hatch is a Nashville native and recent Summa Cum Laude graduate of Fisk University. Khrys is also no entrepreneur stranger. He grew up in his father’s business, House of Hatch Funeral Home, and worked for the Green Truck Moving Company, a groundbreaking startup offering eco-friendly relocation services in Nashville. Khrys has launched ventures of his own and is an alum of Pre-Flight at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center.
Khrys comes to Launch Tennessee with a unique mix of collegiate experience. He interned for two summers at Duke University Hospital and is an alumnus of the Bluford Healthcare Leadership Institute. He is also an alumnus of HBCU@SXSW and Spotify’s the Opening Act, two nationally competitive technology immersion programs. He finished his college career as a student investor in the HBCU.vc program, interning at Cross Culture Ventures.
While at Fisk, he was Founding Vice Chair of the Student Advisory Board, Founding Chair of the Student Government Association Community Outreach Committee and Founding President of a chapter of Curb Creative Connection. In addition, he served as a student advisor on the national committee for Curb Creative Connection and was a 2018 Nashville Entrepreneur Week student volunteer. He is a recipient of the Student Government Association’s Emerging Leader Award and the Fisk University Alumni Association’s Leadership Award.
