The workshop will be live-streamed and walkthrough how to land federal grant opportunities over lunch

NASHVILLE, TN (June 15, 2022) – Launch Tennessee, the statewide organization promoting Tennessee’s entrepreneur ecosystem will host a SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) workshop in collaboration with Meharry Medical College’s ResilienSEED business incubator on Tuesday, June 21. This workshop will include lunch and be held in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration to give businesses who are addressing social inequities the information needed for them to land a federal grant. Attendees will get an in-depth walkthrough of the federal SBIR/STTR grant funding opportunities while learning more about resources available to assist TN based businesses in bringing their innovative ideas to market.

In 2021, LaunchTN matched $700,000 of the $3,00,000 in SBIR awards made to Memphis based startups, totaling 60% overall for the state since program inception.
