SOMAVAC® is improving post-op outcomes by commercializing novel technology.

When it comes to the Healthcare and Technology industries, it’s important for new companies to be persistent and present as they seek to innovate and improve upon existing technology. SOMAVAC is working to commercialize novel technology (any technology that has never been used before) and bring it into the mainstream, making it easily available for patients.

The stress-free SOMAVAC® SVS surgical drain pump allows patients to be independent and self-sufficient during post-op recovery. The SOMAVAC® SVS is a clean and simple drain pump that replaces the manual suction bulb. The SOMAVAC® SVS effectively removes the fluids that cause seromas and is cleared by the FDA for seroma prevention in large flap procedures like: tummy tucks, mastectomy, or breast reconstruction surgery.

The team at SOMAVAC® is highly educated and uniquely equipped for success. Their CEO, Esra Roan, is a PhD. Their team also includes Joshua Herwig, Nathaniel Stoikes MD, and Guy Voeller MD.
