Launch Tennessee staffers Jill Van Beke and Lindsey Cox move into newly defined roles, Brittany Burgess and Jami Creel receive promotions.
NASHVILLE (July 27, 2017) – Launch Tennessee announced a refresh to its organizational chart which includes Jill Van Beke taking on a new role as Chief Program Officer. Van Beke has been with Launch Tennessee since August of 2012 and during her tenure has held the positions of Director of Innovation, and most recently Director of Entrepreneurship. Her expanded role integrates all the various organizational initiatives of entrepreneurship and capital formation and will provide a particular focus on the highest growth opportunities across the state.
Brittany Burgess, who began her tenure at LaunchTN as Specialist Program Coordinator and most recently as the Manager of Entrepreneurship assumes the Director of Entrepreneurship role. Burgess has been with LaunchTN since March 2014. She will now lead program efforts around inclusion, entrepreneurship and university programming.
Lindsey Cox assumes a new role as Director of Operations and Government Affairs. Her new role includes assisting CEO Charlie Brock with operations and policy strategy and will lead efforts for 36|86, LaunchTN’s annual entrepreneurship and technology conference. Cox has been with LaunchTN since September 2013.
Jami Creel, who originally served as an intern in LaunchTN’s Specialist program, is moving from her position of Marketing Coordinator to Marketing Manager, taking on new responsibilities and building on her recent marketing initiatives, including the rebrand of LaunchTN’s weekly newsletter, refreshed social media strategy and new branding surrounding 36|86.
