As a partner and co-founder, Mr. Bailey has extensive transactional experience, having served as an advisor to public and private companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions and the issuance of debt and equity securities. He previously worked as a Chief of Staff for a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Mr. Bailey is a private appointment by Governor Haslam.
Mayor Eldridge is serving his second term as Washington County’s chief financial officer — the primary responsibility of the County Mayor. Eldridge was initially elected in August, 2010 and re-elected in August, 2014. Mayor Eldridge also has significant business experience, including starting a business in 1990 that became a national leader in wireless communications infrastructure and raised capital through an initial public offering. Paul Ney is a registered patent attorney (USPTO) and has a vast career in law that includes serving as Director of the Mayor’s Office of Economic and Community Development for the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County; Deputy General Counsel (Legal Counsel) for the U.S. Department of Defense; Chief Legal Officer of the Department of the Navy and reported directly to the Secretary of the Navy; acting General Counsel of the Department of the Navy and the Principal Deputy General Counsel of the Department of the Navy; and partner at Trauger, Ney & Tuke for 20 years until 2005. Mr. Ney is a private appointment by House Speaker Beth Harwell.
