Since starting to build our Nashville engineering team in 2014, we’ve added more than 20 people and continue to hire at a steady clip. To flesh out the opportunity for curious engineers (maybe that’s you?), we spent two days tailing Bryan Mayes, our Head of Engineering in Nashville. Although each team member’s experience is different (folks work on a wide range of projects, many based in other cities) Bryan’s day-to-day is to be aware of all the opportunities — and match them with the right people.


Application Deadline for “The TENN” is Friday

Just a reminder that Friday is the deadline for applying to be considered for the fourth cohort in Launch Tennessee’s “The TENN” master accelerator. Companies are eligible if they have participated in a program provided by the statewide entrepreneur center network or other Tennessee-based accelerator programs or have participated in LaunchTN programming such as the University Venture Challenge or 36|86’s Village 36. To kick off this year’s Startup Week events, the Innovation District will host The Innovation Office Hop on Sunday, from 2-5 p.m. “All members of the community, particularly those less familiar with the district, are invited to join on this Sunday afternoon stroll between several of the cutting-edge offices in downtown Chattanooga’s Innovation District,” organizers said.
