LaunchTN Offers 16 Summer Internships With Startups

Nashville, Tenn., (Sept. 28, 2017) – Launch Tennessee (LaunchTN) has reformatted its annual internship program to offer 16 full-time, 14-week paid positions with Tennessee-based startups and Entrepreneur Centers.

Interns will receive hands-on startup experience and will learn entrepreneurship from some of the state’s most successful entrepreneurs, along with a stipend.

LaunchTN’s Specialist Program, launched in May 2014, has matched 100+ undergraduate and graduate students from across the country with internships at Tennessee’s six Entrepreneur Centers. Due to its success and feedback from interns, LaunchTN evolved the program to place interns directly with startups in need of tech talent, in addition to the regional Entrepreneur Centers.

“The LaunchTN internship program has been a high-impact tool to engage young talent with the Tennessee startup community,” said Brittany Burgess, entrepreneurship director at LaunchTN.

Applications are open until Feb. 19, 2018, and internships will run from May to August 2018, with flexible start and end dates depending on student schedules. Additional details are available at launchtn.org.
